Township Creates New Voting Districts

Recycling collection, leaf collection will remain unchanged throughout year

The township unveiled a new map with two additional voting districts following a redistricting by the county.

The Bergen County Superintendent of Elections mailed letters recently to registered voters in the new districts, according to township officials. The township has urged voters to carefully read their sample ballots when they are received in the mail in May and October for their voting districts and voting locations.

Bergen County redistricts its municipal voting districts when more than 1,500 voters are registered in a voting district.
