Woman Drives Car Over High Wall in Midland Park

The elderly woman appeared to be OK following the accident, according to officials on the scene.

A woman inadvertently drove her car over a high wall behind a Midland Park office building on Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2012.

Midland Park Police, fire and ambulance responded to the scene just off Godwin Avenue and rescued the woman from the stabilized vehicle, which was resting on its front end at a nearly 90 degree angle.

The woman was transported from the scene by the Midland Park Ambulance Corps, but police on scene said she was "fine, alert [and] stable."

While this news is interesting, my heart breaks for the poor woman whose photograph is posted here. I wish for her... more privacy than that. I hope some day, if I am in an accident that no one feels compelled to plaster my face in the news and I just want the photographer to know that I personally would have been happy not to see her face.
