Voting Locations Changed; Where Do You Vote?

The Wyckoff Township Committee has announced changes to the polling places around the community. Find your new polling place here.

The Wyckoff Township Committee announced that the voting locations (polling places) have been changed for all 2013 and future elections.

“Everyone who has been used to voting in a school that they’ve become accustomed to over 30 years needs to readjust to the new polling place,” said Wyckoff Mayor Rudy Boonstra. “We want everyone to be as well informed on this as possible. The good news is that we are doing this now so we can use the primary election in June as kind of a trial run."

The changes will initially take place with the primary elections on June 4. The new locations for each election district are as follows:

  • Voters in Election Districts 4 & 8 who previously voted at Sicomac School will vote at the historic Dairy Barn at Faith Community Christian Reformed Church at 530 Sicomac Avenue.
  • Voters in Election Districts 1, 5 & 10 will vote at the Cedar Hill Christian Reformed Church at 416-422 Cedar Hill Avenue. (Voters in Election Districts 1 & 5 previously voted in Coolidge School, voters in Election District 10 previously voted in Eisenhower School.)
  • Voters in Eletion Districts 2, 3 & 6 will vote at the Wyckoff Free Public Library located at 200 Woodland Avenue. (Voters in Election Districts 2 & 6 previously voted at Eisenhower School. Voters in Election District 3 previously voted at Lincoln School.
  • Voters in Election Districts 7 & 9 will vote at the Larkin House located at 380 Godwin Avenue. Voters in Districts 7 & 9 voted at Lincoln School.)

The Bergen County Board of Elections has approved the new polling places. The sample ballots mailed to all registered voters by the Bergen County Board of Elections will state the voting district and location for each voter. It is recommended that all voters familiarize themselves with their new voting locations before the next election.
