The Week Ahead in Wyckoff-Franklin Lakes

Here is a taste of what is going on in Wyckoff and Franklin Lakes this week.

Enjoy this teaser of what to expect around town this week.

  • Newark Mayor Cory A. Booker is booked as the featured guest at an event being held by the Northwest Bergen Saturday AM Democrats. The event is aptly titled “Breakfast with Cory,” and will be held at La Sera Restaurant here in Wyckoff.
  • The Wellness Initiative for Senior Education (WISE) program includes lessons on the aging process, staying healthy and becoming a smarter and more empowered healthcare consumer. The first WISE program will take place on Wednesday, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Wyckoff Free Public Library.
  • The Wyckoff Softball and Baseball opening day parade is scheduled for Saturday at 10 a.m. Road closures will be announced on Patch later this week.
  • The Franklin Lakes Mayor and Council meeting is set for Tuesday evening at 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers at Borough Hall.
  • The Franklin Lakes Environmental Commission meets Monday evening at 7 p.m. in the Municipal Building.
  • The Wyckoff Parks & Recreation Board is meeting at 7:30 pm in the Recreation Office on Monday evening.
  • The Wyckoff Environmental Commission meets at 7:30 p.m. in the second floor conference room at on Monday evening.
