Schweby, Muffy and her Sister Princess Need New Homes

0 of 0
Schweby, is a medium size, senior, female pit bull terrier mix, who was turned in to the shelter by her owner who was living out of a car and had no choice but to her in, knowing it was no life for her. The shelter says they hate to see dogs part from their families, especially at her tender age of 13 years. She is sweet as pie and simply enjoys the company of people. The shelter is looking for a home that will take her as she is - a spectacular dog with a wonderful temperament. Schewby is waiting for a caring family willing to fill her last few years with happiness and love. Schewby has become a volunteer and staff favorite. She has been patiently waiting for her new family. Come meet this sweet girl and ask for her by name. Bergen County Animal Shelter

Cheeto is a 1-to-2 year old super friendly and loving cat. He has a beautiful coat with dark orange stripes o orange fur. He is up to date with shots and has tested negative for Feline Aids and Feline Leukemia.
Princess is a sweet seven-year old Poodle/Chow Chow Mix who can be on the shy side when her canine companion Muffy isn’t around. When her sister is around she is comes out of her shell however she does still enjoy the affection given to her by her human friends. The shelter says it is surprising how much her confidence improves when her sister is in the picture therefore the shelter is hoping to find adopters who are willing to take in both dogs. Not only would they make someone very happy but they would be eternally grateful for being given a second chance at life together.
The shelter says eight-month old Clyde will begin to purr as soon as he is picked up. He was abandoned in a box with four other cats and therefore the shelter knows he is good with other cats. He is up to date with shots and has tested negative for Feline Aids and Feline Leukemia
Muffy, Princess’ sister, is the more outgoing of the two and has tons of love to go around. She is pretty strong-willed so adopters have to be able to control her and be firm leaders. The shelter says Muffy wants to be in control but that is not what they encourage. She will need some loose leash manners when she is being walked. For a medium sized dog she is quite strong on a leash. As her sister Princess is so attached to her a family that will took both dogs is being sought.
