Friends of Wyckoff Donate Composter

Donation made to Coolidge School

The Friends of Wyckoff donated a composter and a check in the amount of $60 toward a new batch of red wiggler worms – an essential component for successful composting – to Coolidge School in Wyckoff. School Nurse and Health Educator, Janice Kochanek teaches students how to grow herb and vegetables in the courtyard garden. Now they will also be able to learn how worms and composting makes rich soil.

The donation was possible through the Friends' pancake breakfast fundraiser in March.
