Cedar Hill Ave Closed for PSEG Construction

Cedar Hill Ave. between Wyckoff Ave. and Newtown Rd. will be closed to traffic starting Tuesday

Starting on Tuesday, July 17, Cedar Hill Avenue between Wyckoff Ave. and Newtown Rd., will be closed to traffic due to PSEG construction. The road will be closed approximately three days, while PSEG workers replace a gas main transmission line.

People traveling on Cedar Hill Ave. should plan for extra travel time and follow the detour, or take an alternative route to avoid delays.

PSEG officials advised Wyckoff Township that Cedar Hill Ave. may be closed or open to alternating traffic depending on construction conditions during the next three weeks. The work will take approximately 25 days, conditions permitting or thorugh Friday, August 17. Further work may be required after August 17, depending on weather or unforeseen conditions.

PSEG will work at this location Monday through Friday, from 7 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. They will not be working evenings or weekends.
