The Wyckoff Family YMCA, 691 Wyckoff Ave., will hold auditions for "The Wizard of Oz" later this month. 

The production will be staged on May 13 to 16 at the Carl Pfeifer Performing Arts Center at the Wyckoff Family YMCA. Rehearsals begin the first week of February, evening and weekends.

Open call auditions are scheduled for 6:30 to 9 p.m. Jan. 28 and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Jan. 30.

Callbacks are scheduled for 11 a.m. Jan. 31.

Potential actors should prepare a short song to be sung with a pianist. Bring sheet music, a headshot and a resume. There will be a pianist provided, and performers should be prepared to learn a short dance combination. Performers will not be paid.

"The Wizard of Oz" is the fourth production staged by the Y Arts Theater Company. Prior shows were "Scrooge the Musical," "Beauty and the Beast" and "The King & I." The company expects to present "Annie" in December 2010.
