Wyckoff Ambulance Corps Seeks New Members

The Wyckoff Ambulance Corps provides free emergency medical care to the residents of Wyckoff 24-hours a day, seven-days a week. The all-volunteer organization is seeking new members age 18 or older who lives or works in Wyckoff. 

Free training begins in the end of August. To become a certified Emergency Medical Technician requires 250-hours of coursework at the county training center in Paramus. After training is complete, there is a six-month probation period before becoming a full member. 

Members are required to volunteer for one 12-hour shift each week and one 36-hour weekend shift approximately every two months. You will be working alongside a diverse group of individuals who are committed to helping the residents of Wyckoff.

In addition to giving back to the community and the joy of serving others, Ambulance Corps members enjoy community perks including free personal membership and discounted family membership to the Wyckoff Y, free rec program for their kids, waived municipal fees for building permits, pet liscences and more, as well as enrollment in Emergency Services Length of Service Award Program (LOSAP).
