It's out. New Jersey's "The Lips" is now in stores everywhere.

Released two weeks ago, officially, Oakland's Anthony Laido is part of the Little Heart Records family, and The Lips' self titled debut album is one for the books.

Following in the footsteps of other up and coming NJ bands such as Screaming Females, The Front Bottoms, Electric Sun, and many more, The Lips have remained true to the D.I.Y. lifestyle, and have had success just as the others listed above.

Produced and recorded in Laido's basement studio at home, the album is a lo-fi standout and should not be passed up.
