Franklin Lakes Girl Scout Gives Gift of Reading and Audiobooks to Chilton Hospital’s Pediatric Clinic Patients

Christina Coleburn (center) made a generous donation to Chilton Hospital’s Pediatric Clinic as part of her Girl Scouts Gold Award Project, the organization’s highest level. The 17-year-old Franklin Lakes resident presented the Clinic with a fully stocked carousel of children’s books and corresponding CDs of each story. Patients have the option of either reading the book or listening to the CDs, which Christine recorded herself. In addition, she donated two new CD players. Each page of every book has been laminated to enable sanitizing between uses. Pediatric Clinic Physician Denise Agbessi, MD (left), and Pediatric Clinic Nurse Diane Hough, RN (right), accepted the gifts on behalf of the Clinic. Christina is the daughter of Chilton Orthopedist Cherise Dyal, MD.
